That's right, it's none other than the infamous Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. For those of you who are not familiar with this...it's when all of the most talented names in fashion descend upon the Big Apple, and come out to bestow a little piece of their creative magic upon us. Not only does it show us what we have to look forward to, but I think it really creates a foundation that all of our fashion dreams can build upon.
In honor of this fabulous event, here are a few pics to satisfy your fashion soul:
None of the designers I've seen so far have been shying away from color. (Which I personally love.)
DKNY showed off some patriotic hues as a nod to 9/11. They also sported LOTS of floppy hats. If you know me you know how much I LOVE hats. (If you don't know...click here.)
Christian Siriano didn't disappoint by bringing us lots of bright, bold hues in fun, flirty, & whimsical shapes.
Derek Lam (one of my favorite designers) showed up with a mix of his signature seventies flair & chic, but sexy menswear.
I can't speak for everyone, but Spring 2012 is looking quite fabulous if I do say so myself.

My favorite fall accessory has to be scarves! Not only do they keep your neck warm, but they add color and flair to your outfit. Also you can be creative in how you wrap it or not. I will say Europeans wear them just about all year long and they look fabulous and are pros.
